Charmian and myself enjoyed our two days taking some 4000 images. This was the first time we have attemtped to capture orienteering action. Due to the position of the sun and not wanting to be too close to the controls we could not get as close as we would have liked to some of the action. I think working early with he course setter could give rise to more exciting images.
On day three a 600mm lens was used to capture many shots. The full sequence often shows the orienteer making mistakes.
It will take several days to get them all on the site. In many cases we took a sequences of shots. I will only put a few of each sequence. Most images can be cropped to bring the orienteer closer.
A sequence of shots can be printed together to show the full story!
Cheers
